Chelsea Meynig, Flute

Chelsea Meynig is recognized for her rich and versatile tone, as well as captivating narrative power in her playing. She is principal flute of The Revolution Winds and ENA Ensemble, as well as a member of Network for New Music. Chelsea frequently works with composers premiering and recording new music. She has appeared on several composer’s albums as a soloist and chamber musician. Chelsea frequently performs with The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, No Name Pops, Capital Philharmonic, and Ocean City Pops as well as many other regional orchestras. Most recently Chelsea played the world premiere of “Hope is the thing with feathers” for solo flute and narrator by Heidi Jacob. Chelsea has toured internationally and domestically, performing as a soloist, orchestra member and chamber musician. Her performances have ranged from as close to home as the Kimmel Center and Carnegie Hall to as far as Sydney and Perth Australia. 


Meghan Woodard, Oboe

Meghan Woodard enjoys a rich career as an oboist, oboe professor and scholar based in the Greater Philadelphia area. Meghan is a sought-after chamber and orchestral musician on oboe, English horn, and Baroque oboe. In additional to her position with Revolution Winds, she regularly performs with the Reading Symphony Orchestra, Symphony in C, the Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra, Wayne Oratorio Society, and as a core musician for weddings at St. Thomas of Villanova. Meghan currently holds positions as Professor of Applied Oboe Lessons at Haverford College, Bryn Mawr College, Immaculata University, and the Shipley School. Meghan’s editorial position as Lead Oboe Recordings Reviewer at The Double Reed (a publication of the International Double Reed Society) informs her ongoing scholarly research in analyzing oboe recordings as historical documents. She holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in Oboe Performance from Temple University as well as degrees from the University of Iowa and Ithaca College.


Sean Bailey, Clarinet

Multi-instrumentalist Sean Bailey enjoys an active, interdisciplinary musical career in the Philadelphia area. In addition to his post with Revolution Winds, Sean has performed and/or recorded alongside a spectrum of notable artists and institutions, including (as an ensemble player) the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Philadelphia Ballet Orchestra, Opera Philadelphia, the Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia, Andrea Bocelli, Hugh Jackman, and The Who; as a jazz soloist with greats including Randy Brecker, Jimmy Heath, Christian McBride, and Terell Stafford; and, as a session musician and contributing creative improviser for commercials and film scores for studios including Legendary Pictures and Signature Films. An avid chamber musician, Sean is a member of, or collaborator with, new music ensembles including the Bowerbird Arcana ensemble, Network for New Music, Orchestra 2001, and Relâche; and, as a frequent guest leader of the Philly POPS Sax quartet, he has performed his own arrangements on live broadcast television. Sean holds teaching posts on clarinet, flute, saxophone, music technology, audio production, and arts entrepreneurship at a number of universities, and he has published numerous recordings as an audio engineer, along with written works through the Audio Engineering Society and the Rutgers Library system, where in 2021 he was awarded a grant to author a free, open-source textbook on arts entrepreneurship.  


Harley Givler, Horn

Harley Givler’s passion for chamber music has taken many forms since his first experience at Interlochen Arts Camp as a 13 year old. Through Interlochen Arts Academy, Eastman (BM), Yale (MM), Stony Brook University (DMA), and his time as a freelancer, woodwind quintet has remained Harley’s favorite configuration because of the myriad sonic possibilities. Harley also shares his performing passion with his students, as he directs and conducts ensembles of all ages. He currently serves as Director of Bands, grades 4-12 at The Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, PA, where he also co-directs the Upper School Orchestra and Shipley Jazz Band. In addition to maintaining a private teaching studio, Harley is also the Instructor of Horn and Assistant Conductor of Bands at Drexel University. As a freelance horn player, Harley has performed across Europe as well as stateside with the Fort Worth and Canton Symphony Orchestras. He has been a member of Revolution Winds since its founding in 2017.


Julian Clement, Bassoon

Julian ("Julie") Clement is a freelance bassoonist and music educator local to the Greater Philadelphia area. She spent her undergraduate years studying with John Hunt at the Eastman School of Music, and then returned home to her native Philadelphia to earn her Masters of Music at the Boyer College of Music & Dance at Temple University under the tutelage of Daniel Matsukawa. Julie spent an additional year at Temple, gaining a Professional Studies certificate and studying with William Short. In addition to playing with the Revolution Winds, Julie has played with such groups as The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, The Delaware Symphony, The Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, Vox Amadeus, The Wayne Oratorio Society, and the Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey, among others.
